Growing up in a musical family on the Island of St Maarten, Leo-Tan was gifted with the ability to sing and play instruments. At age five he started playing guitar and shortly after began singing and playing in different festivals, parties, and Gospel events in St Maarten and other Caribbean islands.

As the years went by peer pressure got the best of him and he started playing and performing more for secular events, and got involved in various competitions, and was toasting for money or for anything that was worth competing for.

Later on he joined a local band, and was playing for Carnival and other Caribbean festivities, playing electric guitar, and singing for Reggae, and Dancehall repertoires. However, doing all of these things Leo was not satisfied with the progress and support of the locals, so he left in 1991 to The Netherlands.

Ever since then he was involved with numerous projects, performances and interviews in The Netherlands, and nearby countries. Leo is presently busy doing some collabs with different artists, and is writing, composing, and producing for different artists and groups. He has written many wonderful songs of his own that has not been exposed, and he is busy getting the right connections to get this done.

 Leo sings All THE VOCALS in his tracks including BACKINGS, and the Dancehall toasting. He has performed in Germany, Austria, England, Belgium, Bermuda, and all over the Netherlands and the Caribbean. Leo is presently writing songs for his upcoming albums and just completed his first official video feat Reza  aka the Persian prince.

Leo is actively busy with many projects, writing, composing, producing, and also vocal coaching.
